I have recently done just what you’re asking. What format are the files in? It might be easiest if they are in .avi format. If you have some Google Video files (.gvi) you can download a free gvi to avi convertor.

The longer answer:With Google’s blended search results (ie. news releases, video included among the other results) becoming more prominent it is quite possible to have a video about your business or service and have it rank in the SERPs. Therefore uploading some content to YouTube would help in that regard.

Any TV show, music video, movie clip or song is owned by a person or studio of some sort.
Now YouTube will continue to show the video until they are notified of a possible copyright infringement, at which time they will remove the video until the uploader can prove that they have the legal permission and or right to upload that video.
In other words, treat everything as it has a copyright publicly displayed.

The code i use now puts my music player in a little tiny square on the top left hand dside of my page and im fine w/ that. But when i put a video on my page off of youtube it did the same thing to the video. I dont want that. Help!
got to edit profile then to songs and videos and it will say profile music player and it will give you the option to show or hide it, and it will not take your videos off
I am trying to figure out how to get my videos on youtube to fit the screen. That means my video will not have any black around it. The video would cover the whole screen. I have looked up several tutorials but I can’t find anything! The big problem is that I have Vegas Movie Studio 9.0 and most people with the tutorials have sony vegas and the programs are still a little different from each other. If someone could help I would really appreciate it!

I had trouble getting my videos to be like that too (except I don’t use Sony Vegas) but now I know how, even though I haven’t posted a video in 16:9 ratio, but I know now!

Just because something is on the internet doesn’t void out legal ownership. This applies to videos, images, written text and so on.
In the most simple terms, if you did not create the original video then someone else did and they are the legal owners so copyright apply’s to them as the owner.

I usually watch original videos because those are the people that deserve the views, not the people uploading TV shows.

Well, you can get them from DVDs, you can record them from TV, you can make them with your own camera.
Maybe you should give yourself a project… make a video with your webcam and upload it to youtube. It’s not rocket science.

Well the people that are putting videos of shows up aren’t supposed to… it’s copyrighted. Musicians upload their own music videos (and why people find the need to upload a music video that is already up is beyond me).

I have been trying ALL morning to get a video on youtube but keep getting this error for copyright of the music on my video. How does everybody else get their video’s on without having this issue??? Where do the people who upload the videos on to youtube get the videos from in the first place? Is there a website where you can find and download them or do you just have to be lucky enough to come across it by mistake? I find almost everything i look for on youtube, but i am very curious as to where the people get these videos from in the first place, does anyone know? Well you can change the settings while it uploads you make the title and all but you can change it that way or change it once it’s live you can edit the settings on it and enable or disable the embedding code.
Stop the embedding? Okay go into the video you want to prevent embedding on, click edit on the right, then go down and you will see the Broadcasting and Sharing options.
Go down to Embedding and click “No, external sites may NOT embed and play this video.” then click “save changes”
Then that video will no longer be able to be embedded into other sites.
(and if it was already embedded onto a site, it will no longer be able to watch on that site……i believe….)

If they can download your video, they can put it on another site.
You could add a watermark to your video with a link to your Youtube Account name, so that even when its moved to another site you still get the credit for it.
go to youtube and find your video, then go below the video and click on share, wait for it to load and copy the code in the little box

you need a screen capture program such as hypercam or camtasia to record the clips from your screen. you then configure the clips into wmm and configure them how you want.
To be honest, uploading random images accompanied by commercially released music isn’t really making a video. YouTube was set up for people to share HOME videos – 100% your own work and creativity, both images and sound.
YouTube, copyright owners and adults generally are mystified by the teen obsession with using copyright music – and then complaining when YouTube mute or delete the delinquent content.

TO get free clips of whatever you want go here and download the free hypercam and that allows you to record anything you want on the internet. For music go here and download it. and you can just use windows movie maker to put it all together.

Once you upload a video, click edit. In privacy settings make sure that “Allow other users to embed my video” to no or off.

If people can view your video, they can download your video.

In other words just the vid is playable right beneath the picture being commented on in the comment box. I saw this once on a pic. Does myspace still support it? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I just want to know HOW and WHY youtube videos get removed. Like they’ll say either: this video has been removed due to terms of violation, or youtube will delete the sound of the video. How does this happen??? I don’t get what they mean when they say that you have property not recognized by wmg, or something like that, or why they remove your video due to terms of violation. Does it get removed right away or at any random time?
They remove the audio of the video because the sound on it is copyright,
If I put a song on THAT I DIDNT OWN It’s not mine is it? it’s the record company that made it. To stop youtube being sewed they remove the sound.
You’re probly thinking how is this true there is music videos on there, Some are allowed because of copyright permissions by the owner and some are official.
YouTube don’t often remove the video unless it’s been flagged by users, videos are removed for things such as this.
Violence
Sexual content
Hateful/abusive
Child Abuse
Spam
YouTube analyse all of the flags that have been sent in, if they agree with the flag sent in the appropriate action will be taken against the video.
YouTube have ways of detecting music on videos and also remove the audio/video in an appropriate way.
Everything is done for a good reason you’ll understand if you were youtube.
