How do I put a youtube video on my profile with out the video part?

Echoing the previous post, I think it does depend on what you are marketing, but also, how are your audience or customers looking for the information? Are they more likely to be on YouTube looking at videos or more likely to do a Google search for something.
Are you using Firefox? If so, there is an extension called VideoDownloader that downloads the .FLV video from Youtube sites.
Have you considered they may be on a social network or forum seeking information too? The shorter answer:GoogleHope this helps!
It is that simple, what is not simple is a cover all answer to this problem. If what you are marketing is already mainstream and viral in nature, then youtube may be the ticket to success, But if it is the new brand of denture cleaner, chances are that youtube will not be as effective as keyword searches in Google. You would not advertise a rock star in a gardening magazine, would you?
Every product, service and business has certain ways to market that are best for them. It is our job as marketers to decide what is best, and test, test, test!CONVERT. Once you’ve downloaded the file, you’ll need to convert it to a format that will burn to a video DVD. The software you use for this will depend on (A) the filetype created from part 1, and (B) the program you use to burn your DVDs. The best filetype to convert to is probably an MPEG variant.
is the nasty part, because the videos are flash-embedded, and there’s no good way to download them directly. It’s hard to recommend a specific tool, because none of them work some of the time, and some seem to work when others don’t. If you use Firefox, there are several plugins that seem to usually do the trick.
I have recently done just what you’re asking. What format are the files in? It might be easiest if they are in .avi format. If you have some Google Video files (.gvi) you can download a free gvi to avi convertor.
Something about 75 mins long that I downloaded on YouTube was only about 400MB, so I used Nero to burn it as a Video CD. Very simple. You can even have a little menu at the beginning of the disc to choose the pieces you want to watch.
Burning to a DVD is a little more tricky as a DVD player is expecting .vob and .ifo files.
